Fifteen years ago Marianne & I decided there was something missing from our seaside hometown Mandurah, Western Australia.
Surrounded by Ocean, Estuary, Canals and Rivers Mandurah is a beautiful coastal city with the perfect aquatic lifestyle. Swimming at our beautiful beaches, crabbing and boating in our estuaries or escaping the heat of a WA summer in the family backyard pool you could say we were drawn to the water! And so began our vision for The Bather Bar Swim & Leisure Wear.
Tired of the trek to Perth, and not being teenie, tiny bikini models we decided that the beach babes of Mandurah, young and old alike needed somewhere to shop for designer swim & leisure wear that would suit those of all shapes & sizes and our vision became reality.
Located on Tuckey Street, just a minute walk from the beautiful Mandurah Foreshore and nestled towards the end of the Plaza Shopping Precinct you will find our beautiful store.
Our swim offering is exceptional with popular Australian Designer swimwear on offer from favourite labels Seafolly, Baku, Jets, Sunseeker, Jantzen, Bound by Bond-Eye, Sealevel, Irene Berzelli and international labels Moontide, Miraclesuit & Maaji to name a few.
Our Leisure & Fashion lines include beautiful pieces from popular Australian designers Kinney, Sophie Moran, Ridley The Label, One Season, Island Jade & many more.
We love our store and we love providing a friendly comfortable shopping space, our aim is to make swimwear shopping a less daunting experience, our aim is to provide you with specialty cup fittings if that’s what you need, a size selection from a size eight to twenty four, swimwear for the beach or chlorine resistant for the pool and above all exceptional service.
